  • Outdoor First Aid (2 Day Course) 

Available for up to 12 people. This course equips you with the knowledge to deal with a wide selection of incidents when you are in an outdoor environment. This includes utilising other pieces of equipment, to ensure your casualty is cared for until help arrives. This is essential if you are in charge of a group outdoors near water, on the hills/mountains. Content includes: Resuscitation, Outdoor Scene Survey, Monitoring Vitals, Fractures, Head & Spinal, Major Illness, Anaphylaxis, Heat & Hypothermia, Burns, Poisons, Bites & Stings, plus great information over the 2 days. Ideal for Ski Instructors, Hill Climbing or Walking Groups.

Duration: 16 hours over 2 days. Valid for 3 years.                                                                                   

  • Activity First Aid  (2 Day Course) 

Available for up to 12 people. This course is ideal if you are involved with Sports such as football or rugby. Day 1 covers Emergency First aid at Work. Day 2 covers: Bones, Joints, Head, Spinal Injuries, Chest, Abdominal, Burns, Poisons, Anaphylaxis Heart Attack, Strokes, Diabetes Asthma & the effects of Heat and Cold on the body. A packed course over the 2 days. I have been approved by the Scottish Youth Football Association, SYFA.

Duration: 16 hours over 2 days. Valid for 3 years.                                                                                   

  • Paediatrics Emergency First Aid Course (1 day Course)

Available for up to 12 people. This course incorporates all areas: Primary & Secondary Survey, Respiratory System, Resuscitation, Choking, Epilepsy, Wounds, Bleeding, Shock, Animal Bites & Stings Circulation, Anaphylaxis, Bones, Foreign Objects, Chronic Conditions, Electric Shock, Burns, Poisons and Defibrillation etc. This is a perfect course if you are working with children.

Duration: 12 hours over 1 day. Valid for 3 years.                                                                 

  • Paediatrics First Aid Course (2 day Course)

Available for up to 12 people. This course incorporates all areas from the Emergency Course plus: Bones, Joints, Head, Spinal Injuries, Chest, Abdominal, Burns, Poisons, Anaphylaxis, Heart Attack, Stroke, Diabetes, Asthma, Effect of Heat and Cold on the Body. This is ideal for Schools, Nurseries or Sports Clubs for Children. 

Duration: 12 hours over 2 days. Valid for 3 years.                                                                 

  • mini MEDICS  3.5 hour course aimed at  5 - 11 year olds

Available for up to 16 children. This course is a really good introduction for children to get into First Aid as no doubt the will be able to assist with an incident at home. This will give a clear understanding of how to help. Topics covered: contacting the emergency services; DR ABC, Resuscitation; Defibrillation, Recovery position, Choking, Asthma, Bleeding, Wounds and Shock. Perfect for Cubs/Scout groups. Clearly illustrated manuals for the children to keep, with their first certificate.

Duration: 3.5 hours.                                                                                   

A minimum of 3 delegates are required for these courses.

Certificates will be issued following the successful completion of the course.

All delegates passing the courses will receive a monthly support First Aid 

Training topic emailed out to ensure that this is fresh in their mind.

Course manuals will be provided for all delegates.
