Mini Medics

Our Mini Medics programme introduces children to the basics of both First Aid and Mental Health Awareness in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way. Through interactive sessions, young learners gain the confidence to help in emergencies, understand how to look after their own wellbeing, and support others. This course is a fantastic way to build life skills early—empowering the next generation to be calm, kind, and capable in a crisis.

Mini-Medics First Aid

Duration: 3 hours

Valid for: Awareness Purposes

Available for up to 16 children, this engaging and age-appropriate course is a fantastic introduction to First Aid for young learners. Whether it's helping at home or knowing what to do in an emergency, children will leave with the confidence and knowledge to make a difference.

Through fun, interactive learning, they'll explore topics like:

  • Contacting emergency services

  • DR ABC and basic assessments

  • Resuscitation & Defibrillation (AED)

  • Recovery position & Choking

  • Asthma, Bleeding, Wounds & Shock

Perfect for Cubs, Scouts, youth groups or school enrichment days, each child receives a clearly illustrated manual to take home. A great way to start building essential life-saving skills early.

Mini Medics Mental Health First Aid

Duration: 3 Hours 

Valid for: Awareness Purposes

Available for up to 16 children, this gentle and engaging course introduces young people to the importance of mental health and emotional wellbeing. It helps children understand their feelings, recognise when someone might be struggling, and learn how to be kind, supportive, and confident in talking about mental health.

Topics include:

  • Understanding emotions and feelings

  • Building self-esteem and resilience

  • Spotting signs of stress, anxiety, or sadness

  • Knowing when and how to ask for help

  • How to support friends in need

  • The importance of kindness and listening

Perfect for schools, Cubs/Scouts, and youth organisations, this course uses age-appropriate language, colourful resources, and interactive activities to create a safe space for learning. Each child receives a take-home booklet to reinforce what they’ve learned and encourage continued conversation.
